This Privacy Policy will help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it.
WHO WE ARE
ERICAS is a library service that has been created by the University of Leicester. The University of Leicester is the data controller for all personal data that it processes.
THE INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
If you are a reviewer (faculty member) for ERICAS, we also collect information on your speciality area (cardiovascular, kidney disease and diabetes) so that we can send you the most relevant papers.
We use this information to provide the personalised ERICAS service to you.

KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION UP-TO-DATE
It’s really important that the information you give us is kept up-to-date. To change your information, go to the profile page in settings.
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION FOR, AND WHEN TO STOP USING ERICAS
The provision of the ERICAS service is only available to those who register. The legal basis for which we process personal data is under performance of a contract.
We keep information on your account for the funding period (currently 30 months) if the account remains active. If the account is deactivated or unused, all information is archived after 12 months, and permanently deleted after 30 months.
